The Peer Comparison Report for Admissions compares the fall admissions data of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. The number of applicants, admits, and enrollees - as well as students' ACT and SAT test scores - are representative of first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students.
The Peer Comparison Report for Fall Enrollment compares the Fall enrollment of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. All data for this report are retrieved from the IPEDS Data Center.
The Peer Comparison Report for Average Net Price compares the overall average net price, as well as average net price by family income level, of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. All data for this report are retrieved from the IPEDS Data Center.
The Peer Comparison Report for Tuition and Fees compares the amount of tuition and required fees covering a full academic year most frequently charged to students at each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. These values represent what a typical student would be charged and may not be the same for all students at an institution. If tuition is charged on a per-credit-hour basis, the average full-time credit hour load for an entire academic year is used to estimate average tuition. Required fees include all fixed sum charges that are required of such a large proportion of all students, that the student who does not pay the charges is an exception.
The Peer Comparison Report for Cost of Attendance (COA) compares the cost of attendance of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. Cost of attendance is the total amount of tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and other expenses that a full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking student pays in an academic year. Costs reported by the institution are those amounts used by the financial aid office to determine a student's financial need. All data for this report are retrieved from the IPEDS Data Center.

The Peer Comparison Report for Graduation Rates compares the 4, 5, and 6 year graduation rates of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. Graduation rates are for first-time, full-time Bachelor or equivalent degree/certificate-seeking student subcohort. All data for this report are retrieved from the IPEDS Data Center.
The Peer Comparison Report for Number of Faculty compares the full-time instructional staff headcount of each IU campus to those of its peer institutions. Number of faculty is reported by Academic Rank (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Instructor, Lecturer, No academic rank), Tenure Status (Tenured, On-Tenure Track, Not on tenure track/No tenure system), Sex, and Underrepresented Status. All data for this report are retrieved from the IPEDS Data Center. Faculty numbers represent an annual Fall snapshot of each institution's human resources/payroll data.
An extension of IU’s Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes (PSEO) dashboard, the Peer Comparison dashboard provides a broader context for understanding graduate earnings. Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, this dashboard enables comparisons between Indiana University graduate earnings and those from peer institutions across the country.
