Graduate and Professional
Federal and State collected outcome data (retention, graduation rates, time to degree) have traditionally focused on Undergraduate student cohort modeling and tracking, which is extremely important when quantifying the success of IU undergraduate students. However, while a lot of institutions track graduate progress and success, a federal model for measuring graduate student success does not yet exist, and graduate cohort data simply aren’t collected at a national level. With the development of IU’s 2030 Strategic Plan Metrics the institution found it necessary to expand their outcome reporting to also include Graduate and Professional level data. These reports utilize IU standard methodology to now capture graduate outcome success measures for the university.
